Laikipia University Recruitment Process
The recruitment method used by Laikipia University are as follows.
1. Invitation of Applications
The recruitment kicks off when the university makes announcement of new vacancies and invites application from suitably qualified and interested individuals. Applications are then to be made on the recruitment portal on or before the set deadline.
2. Review and Shortlisting
After the set closing date, submitted applications shall be reviewed by the school management and names of successful applicants will be published as PDF. All shortlisted candidates are further scheduled for screening.
3. Screening and Interview
An interview shall be conducted as well as confirmation of academic and professional qualifications. Candidates who sail through this phase shall be offered employment.
Qualifications for Laikipia University Recruitment 2024
Although the requirements and qualifications for each position vary, below are the general criteria applicants must meet.
- Candidates applying must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Candidates should have a valid National ID or Passport.
- Candidates must have minimum mean grade in KCSE.
- Applicant should have a Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctorate degree depending on the vacancy.
- Candidates applying must be a registered and active member of relevant professional body.
- Candidates applying for lecturing position must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience and at least twenty four (24) publication points.
- Sixteen (16) of the publications must be referred journal papers.
- Applicant must be ICT inclined.
- Must be in compliance with chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution.
