Requirements for Nairobi City County Public Service Recruitment
To apply for the above vacancies, below are the criteria you must meet.
1. Assistant Director Betting, Lotteries & Gaming
- Candidate applying for this position must have served as a Principal Gaming Inspector or equivalent position for at least three (3) years.
- Worked as Gaming Inspector for ten (10) years.
- Hold a degree in either Hotel Administration, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Law, Sociology etc.
2. Director Land Administration
- Applicants of this role must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Land Management or closely related discipline from an approved university.
- Must be a recognized member of Institution of Surveyors of Kenya.
- Attending a leadership course is a plus.
- Having experience in Lands sector for at least fifteen (15) years is mandatory.
- Analytics, negotiation, strategic and communication skills is an added advantage.
3. Principal Liquor Licensing Officer
To fulfill the requirements of this position, you must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in either Public Administration, Management, Economics or Business Administration.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience is required.
- Applicant must be knowledgeable of relevant laws and regulations relating to alcoholic use and control.
4. Gaming Inspector I
- Applicants of this position are expected to have served in the Nairobi City County for at least five (5) years in betting, lotteries and gaming activities.
- A diploma in any relevant field will be accepted.
5. Deputy Director Land Administration
- First degree and Master’s in Land management, Urban planning etc. from an accredited institution is required.
- Been a member of Institution of Surveyors of Kenya is necessary.
- Professional certifications in Surveying, Property management and leadership course will be an advantage.
6. Principal Gaming & Betting Officer
- Candidates applying for this position must have served as Chief Gaming inspector for at least three (3) years.
- Should possess a degree in either Sociology, Law, Business Administration, Hotel Administration etc.
Must have attended a management leadership course.
7. Liquor Licensing Officer I
- Applicant must be proficient in ICT
- Have a degree in Education, Public relations or community development.
- Must understand and adhere to the requirements of chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution.
