General Qualifications for FCSC Recruitment 2024

Before proceeding to check the requirements needed, then apply later, you must be a holder of First Degree or equivalent to avoid an unsuccessful application.

• Applicant must be a Nigerian ancestry possessing an authentic means of identification
• You must not aged past 35 years and not below 22 years old
• A minimum educational qualification of OND, HND, BA/BSc. 
• Possession of at least 5 credit passes in SSCE (a minimum of two sittings) including Mathematics, English Language, and 3 other core subjects
• At the moment, you must be under an employment or in contract terms with the FG initiated program or job opportunity
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English Language is mandatory
• Not previously or presently convicted of a crime
• Sound judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualifications/Skills

• Legal Officer: Candidate must hold Bachelor’s of Laws (LLB) Degree and BL certificate from a recognized Nigerian Law School
• State Counsel: You must possess a BL certificate from a recognized Nigerian Law School and a Bachelor’s of Laws Degree

2.) Bureau of Public Procurement

• Contract Specialist: Possession of a first degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Law, or related field
• Procurement Officer: Possession of a Bachelor’s or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, or related

3.) Federal Ministry of Information

• Public Relations Officer: You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent
• Information Officer: For this role, candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Journalism, or in a related field 

4.) Federal Ministry of Trade and Investments

• Trade Officer: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics or related
• Investment Officer: Applicant must hold a first degree in Finance, Business Administration or related from a recognized institution

5.) Federal Ministry of Environment

• Conservation Officer: A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation Biology, Environmental Science or equivalent.
• Environmental Scientist: A minimum of First Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent qualification
