Requirements for Federal Ministry of Labour Recruitment 2024

I. Registrar of Cooperative Societies Grade II

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Economics, Agriculture, Law, Business Administration or Accountancy from a recognized University.

II. Senior Inspector of Factories

• A degree in Engineering. A degree in Physics or Mathematics, a Degree in Environmental /Industrial Health Safety
• Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
• At least six years post qualification cognate experience

III. Registrar of Cooperative Societies Grade I

• Bachelor degree in Arts, Economics, Agriculture, Law, Business Administration or Accountancy from a recognized University
• A minimum of three (3) years post qualification cognate experience.

IV. Senior Labour Officer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Social Science or Law from any recognized University
• Prior experience for 6 or Master’s degree with four years post qualification cognate experience.

V. Inspector of Factories Grade I

• Engineering Degree, registrable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria. A degree in Physics or Mathematics, a Degree in Environmental /Industrial Health Safety
• Candidate applying must have at least three years post qualification cognate experience

VI. Labour Officer Grade I

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Social Science or Law from any recognized University.
• Possession at least three years experience or Master’s degree with at least One year post qualification cognate experience

VII. Skills Development and Certification Officer I

• Candidate must possess degree or equivalent certificates in Technology, Environmental Science, Engineering and any other disciplines relevant to vocational Skills development and certification with Technical background.
• Three years Industrial experience or possess a Master’s Degree Technology engineering or field relevant to the skill development, plus at least one year post qualification cognate experience

VIII. Senior Skills Development and Certification Officer

• Applicant must possess degree or equivalent certificates in Technology, Environmental Science, Engineering and any other disciplines relevant to vocational Skills development and certification with Technical background
• In addition to the above requirements, candidates must have six (6) years industrial experience in a responsible post.

IX. Higher Labour Inspector

• Candidates must possess a National Diploma in Business Administration or GCE A Level in two subjects or three subjects in two sittings
• A minimum of five years post qualification cognate experience or a Higher National Diploma Certificate from a recognized Institutions plus
• At least three years post qualification cognate experience
