Part of the eligibility criteria to apply for these jobs is that candidates must have a valid National Identity Card or Passport, reside in Nakuru County, have a pass mean grade of D+ in K.C.S.E including English Language, adherence to Chapter six (6) of the Kenyan constitution etc.
What Qualifications Do I Need?
The role specified requirements and qualifications for Nakuru County Government jobs are as follows:
1. Municipal Manager
As a Municipal manager, you’re expected to have a degree or equivalent in relevant course of study from a recognized university in Kenya or abroad.
Those position requires a minimum of ten (10) years experience in both administration and management. Your primary responsibility shall be to carry out decisions and delegations of the board.
2. Superintending Engineer (Structural)
To get employed for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in either Civil or Structural Engineering from a qualified institution.
The board demands that you must have served as an assistant structural engineer I or in an equivalent position for at least three (3) years.
Been a member and holder of a valid practising license from Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) is a must.
Membership with Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) is also a plus.
3. Assistant Architect
The key qualification requirements for this position is holding a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and been a member of Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK).
4. Assistant Engineer II (Mechanical)
To work as an assistant mechanical engineer II for Nakuru County Government;
You must be a graduate with degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification. Membership with Engineers Registration Board of Kenya is mandatory.
5. Assistant Quantity Surveyor II
Candidates applying for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in Building Economics, Quantity Surveying etc.
Registration with Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) and Institute Quantity Surveyors of Kenya is mandatory.
