An announcement made by Ahmed Bakari, air vice marshal for the chief of air staff disclosed the guidelines for the recruitment exercise for both Trades and Non-Trades men and women.
The recruitment exercise began on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 and will conclude in October. Application forms and other relevant information are available for free online via the recruitment portal: nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.

Eligibility Criteria for Nigeria Airforce Recruitment 2024
The following are the minimum requirements which must be outstandingly met if you are interested in getting recruited into the Nigeria Airforce:
- Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen by birth, single, and possess National Identity Card/NIN or BVN
- Possession of a minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE and NABTEB
- You must not be less than 1.66m height for males and 1.63m height for females.
- Your medically, physically and psychologically states will be checked
- Most importantly, candidate applying must be free of any previous convictions on criminal grounds, by a court of law
- For non-tradesmen and women, the age limitation is 18 and 22 years. Candidates borned before September 20, 2003 are not eligible.
- For tradesmen and women, you must be between 18 and 25 years old. Those born before September 20, 2000 are not eligible
Educational Qualifications/Skills
With the following trade positions being applied for at NAF;

The applicant must possess a trade test certificate. A minimum of two passes in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with a credit in English Language.
If your application is forwarded for professions allied to medicine, you must have an ND from recognised Nigerian institutions and a valid practicing license.
Sports applicants must provide evidence of experience, including certificates and medals.
