Requirements & Qualifications for Appointment
As earlier mentioned, there are set out criteria that makes you eligible to apply for any of the announced vacancies.
- To start with, you must be a Kenyan citizen with acceptable means of identification such as National ID.
- You should have a minimum of D+ mean grade in Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education (KCSE) which must include Engish and Kiswahili languages.
- It is pivotal to meet the criteria spelts out in chapter six (6) of Kenya constitution which includes possessing relevant clerance certificates.

Director of Disaster Management
- Anyone applying for this position should have a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution, Disaster and Safety Management, Community Development etc. or equivalent qualifications.
- You should have have experience working with either private or public sector for a minimum of ten (10) years.
- A certification in Senior Management course is plus. Note that the course must have lasted for at least four (4) weeks.
Sports Officer
As sports officer, you should have degree or equivalent qualification in either Physical Education, Sport Science, Leisure and Recreation Management etc.
Firemen
- You should have certification in either Fire Engineering or Fire Marshall from any recognized institution.
- You must be both physically and medicall fit and certified by a government doctor.
- A first aid training of not less than one (1) week is required.
