PPRA recruitment 2024 has commenced and applications are invited from interested persons for open jobs/vacancies on or before Tuesday, 4th June, 2024.
In line with the Act of Public Procurement & Asset Disposal 2015, section 8(1) specifically gave birth to the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).
The fundamental mandate of the authority includes monitoring, assessing and reviewing public procurement and asset disposal system in accordance with the provisions of the national constitution.

Eligibility Criteria
Generally, getting qualified for application requires you possess the following.
- You must be a citizen of Kenya.
- Having either a National ID or Passport is mandatory.
- D+ mean grade in KCSE including English is mandatory.
- You must possess relevant clearance certificates according to the constitution.
Job Description, Requirements & Qualifications
1) Deputy Director, Resource Mobilization and Partnerships
As the deputy director, you will be reporting to the Director of strategy and planning.
Description
This role entails that you shall be the one to plan, coordinate, direct as well as guiding all activities relating to resource mobilization and partnerships to help the authority achieve her set goals and objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
This position demands the following.
- Having a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Economics and Development Studies, Strategic Management, Project Planning and Management from an approved university.
- You must have attended a management course which lasted for not less than one (1) month. The training be organized by a recognized institution.
- Being a registered and active member of relevant professional body is an added advantage.
- This role requires that you must have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- You must possess key competencies such as strategic thinking, change and risk management, policy formulation, resource management, and analytical skills etc.
Salary is Ksh. 270,000 – 379,000
2) Deputy Director, Human Resource & Administration
As the deputy director for Human resource and administration, you will working under the directorate of Corporate services.
Description
You will be saddled with the responsibilities of providing strategic leadership, development and implantation on proper management of the authority’s human resource to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
This position demands the following.
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Planning, Business administration etc. from an approved institution is required.
- Professional diploma programme in Human Resource Management, Development, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations.
- Certificate in Management course for not less than four (4) weeks is an added advantage.
- Also, this role requires that you must be in good standing and obtain valid license from Human Resource Management (IHRM).
- Minimal, you need ten (10) years of relevant work experience and part must be at management level.
- Integrity, interpersonal skill, ability to management time, computer applications skill, analytical skill, creativity and innovativeness skills are necessary.
Salary is Ksh. 270,000 – 379,000
