1. Territory Business Lead

As the Territory or Regional Business leader at Safaricom, you will coordinate the daily sales operations of representatives delegated to a particular geographical location. To ensure this is successfully, you will ensure good business relations with distributors and retails.

To qualify for this position:

• You’re expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant academic discipline.
• Have nothing less than six (6) years of valid working experience in Sales and Distribution within a Territory or Region.
• Have strong technical and leadership skills to management both partners and stakeholders.
• Possessing a strategic, analytical and business inclined mindset.
• Have good knowledge of financial projections, be a good team leader and player.
• Applicants of this position must be willing to relocate to any part of the country as your duty may entail.
• Candidates must also have a valid (BCE) driving license with no record of violations.

2. Fixed Service Experience Lead

Your role here involves ensuring excellent operation within the FTTx (Fiber-to-the-x) service fulfillment team. Overseeing both technical and instill customer centricity in the customer onboarding last mile services. You will be making reports to the Senor Manager as need arises or periodically.

The requirements for this vacant positions are as follows.

• Candidates interested in this position must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Engineering or relevant academic study.
• He or she must have nothing short of three (3) years experience in service delivery, project management or operations within the telecommunications or Fixed broadband industry.
• Must have an understanding, insight and experience in managing diverse team of Engineers, Technicians and Contractors.
• Must possess good knowledge of FTTx networks and experience with CAPEX management.

3. Fixed Service Experience Lead

As the fixed service experience lead, your fundamental task is to provide technical solutions and assistance on pertinent customer experience issues. Achieving this involves diagnosis and timely resolution of network related problems. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Fixed Technical Support.

To get employed for this position:

• You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or industry certifications like HCNA, HCIP, CCNA, CCNP etc.
• Fairly, a three (3) years experience in technical support role is required.
• You must have deepen knowledge of fixed network architecture and networking concepts including transmission and core network with knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi etc.

4. Senior Manager, Fixed Technical Support

You will be the Head of Department for Fixed Network Solutions. Sequel to this, you will be in charge of converting both business and customer needs into technology requirements, developing systems, service and solutions to agreed specifications.

Indicating expertise through qualification;

• You must have a Bachelors Degree of Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Must have certifications in MCSE, MCSA, MCP or MCITP, CCNA/HCIA, HCNA, CCNP. HCNP. HCIP etc.
• ICDL certification (A+ certification in Hardware and Software)
• Cisco certification.
• Generally, five (5) years experience in IT service management is required.
