Overview of TISA
The Institute for Social Accountability (TISA) is a grassroots organization in Kenya dedicated to improving policies and governance in local communities, especially for the poor and marginalized.
Since its start in March 2008, TISA, originally known as the CDF Accountability Project, has grown into a well-respected local trust. T
hey focus on governance and have built a strong network and expertise in areas like local and participatory governance, advocacy, and capacity building.
TISA also creates practical tools and curricula to help others build their capacity in these areas.
The institute is offering young professionals opportunity to learn and gain first hand experience through the 2024-2025 internship program. Below are the open positions.

What are the Requirements?
The eligibility criteria for TISA internship program 2024 are as follows:
- Applicant must be a Kenyan citizen with valid identification document.
- Must have graduated between 2022 and 2024.
- Should be willing and ready to learn.
- Must possess excellent communication skill.
- Ability to relate with team members if key.
- Must be proficient in computer applications.
- Candidate must possess good analytical skill.
What is the duration for the program?
The Institute for Social Accountability (TISA) internship program will last for a period of six (6) months. Successful candidates must be fully available throughout the program and must not be employed elsewhere.
Right renumeration and monthly stipend are given to all intern.
