Eligibility Criteria
On a more general note, here are the key criteria which you must posses to apply for Turkana County recruitment 2024.

Job Description
1. Security Warden I
As the security office, you will ensure the county’s laws and acts are followed. Patrols will be made on a regular basis to ensure orderliness in parking and traffic management. Protect the county government properties and premises.
To qualify for this post, you must:
- Be physically and mentally fit
- Possess valid certificate of Good conduct issued by Directorate of Criminal Investigation.
- You must have experience with the National Police Service, KDF, Prisons or NYS.
2. Deputy Director of Human Resource Management
Your primary responsibilities include understanding and following most appropriate human resource management structures and systems. Institutionalize performance management and also patriciate in tripartite discussions.
Requirements for appointment includes:
- Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Sociology or Public Administration.
- Serve for at least three (3) years as Senior Assistant Director of Human Resource Management.
- Must be a member of Institute of Human Resource Management.
- A Master’s degree in Human Resource is a great advantage.
3. Records Management Officer II
As the records management officer, you will ensure files and documents are properly kept. Ensure professional and proper following of registers etc.
To get selected for this role:
- You must have a Diploma in Records or Information Management from a recognized university.
- You must have at least three (3) years experience as Records Management Officer III
4. Clerical Officer I
As the clerical officer, you will be responsible for compiling statical records, processing appointments, and also maintaining an efficient filling system.
Qualifications for appointment are:
- Mean grade C- in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E).
- Certification in computer applications.
- Ability to compile data and draft simple letters.
5. Office Administrative Assistant II
This role demands that you attend to telephone calls and appointments, maintain and up to data filing system in office, word and data processing as well as operating office equipment’s.
