Although the Ministry is concerned about every freshly graduates in Kenya, but for its ongoing internship, only graduates in the following categories are eligible –

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine
  • Bachelor of Science in Animal Health and Production 
  • Diploma in  Animal Health and Production
  • Certificate in Animal Health and Production 
  • Candidate applying must have graduated from an institution recognized by the Kenya Veterinary Board
  • The Applicant must be temporary registered as veterinary Intern by the Kenya Veterinary Board Certificate of Training for the year 2024 to be eligible

Qualifications and Requirements

Upon matching the eligibility criteria, eligible candidates are expected to satisfy the following requirements –

  • Applicant must have Certifications in KCSE and KCPE 
  • Candidate must have a National Identity card, Birth certificate, NHIF Card, and NSSF Card
  • Candidate applying must be in the possession of a KRA Pin certificate, valid certificate of good conduct, personal accident insurance cover, bank account in his/her name, and two recent passport size photographs
