Currently, these are the positions announced by the management of KNDI and the eligibility criteria are as follows.
Requirements, Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for inspectors at training institution should be registered wiht KNDI, possess a Ph.D in nutrition and dietetics from a recognized institution.
Additionally, candidate should either be specialised in Clinical nutrition, Public health nutrition, Community nutrition, Food science nutrition, clinical dietetics or Food service diet therapy.
While candidates applying for inspectors at food companies should as well be registered with the Kenya Nutritionists & Dieticians Institute (KNDI) and have Ph.D. in food science and nutrition or food science and technology from approved institution.
He or she must be an expert in either Product ideation and formulation, HACCP, Regulatory framework in food science, Food safety etc.

KNDI Recruitment Process
To get appointed for any of these positions, you must go through the three (3) phases of this recruitment exercise which includes submitting application, getting shortlisted and attending screening/interview.
Announcement of Vacant Positions: The Kenya Nutritionists & Dieticians Institute do make announcement about open job vacancies at their official website, precisely the career portal. So, you can find open jobs there.
Submission of Application: Once you go through the vacancies announced, decide on the position to apply, follow the instructions given to submit your form.
Shortlisting, Screening/Interview: Submitted applications shall be reviewed by the management and then list containing names of successful candidates shall be published online via the career portal.
After that, shortlisted candidates shall be contacted for screening/interview exercise and it is those who succeed at this stage that shall be appointed.
