Regulatory Expert and Policy Engagement Consultant
- Applicants for this role must have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in either Social Science, Finance or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Applicant must possess at least five (5) years of experience including working in financial service sectors. Having experience in regulatory and standard implementation are added advantage.
- Being a member of relevant professional bodies especially policy making, regulatory or consultancy etc. is desirable.
- Applicant should be proficient in written and oral forms of English and French languages.
Skills & Knowledge Needed
- Being an expert in sustainable finance regulation is pivotal.
- You should have experience in sustainable finance regulatory implementation.
- You should understand how best to elaborate content, plan, develop and manage projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines on challenging subjects is key.
Climate Change Communications Specialist
- Applicants for this position must have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in either Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International relations etc.
- He or she must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in dissemination of information management etc.
- Applicant must be fluent in Spanish or English.
Skills & Knowledge Needed
- Excellent political, advisory and facilitation skills.
- Ability to apply knowledge of various United Nations administrative.
- Ability to communicate complex issues in a language and format that is appropriate to specific target audiences.
Terminal Review Consultant
- This role requires applicant to have a Master’s degree in Energy, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or International Development etc. from a recognized university across the world.
- Applicant should have at least five (5) years of technical/evaluation work experience.
- Experience in evaluating large, regional or global programmes using theory of change approach is required.
- Having a good understanding of energy, climate change conventions and MRV is needed.
- Candidate applying should be able to communicate effectively with government representative while possessing high drafting skill.
Senior Finance and Budget Assistant
- For this role, you must have a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification from an approved institution.
- Applicants with further training or qualification in Finance, Budget or Accounting have an added advantage.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience especially in Finance, Budgeting, Accounting or Administrative services is required.
- Ability to communicate in either English or French languages is pivotal.
Terminal Review Consultant
- A Master’s degree in energy, environmental sciences, engineering, international development or related area is required.Â
- A first-level degree with an additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of technical / evaluation experience preferably including evaluating large, regional or global programmes and using a Theory of Change approach is required.
- A good understanding of climate change conventions, GHG inventory and MRV is desirable
- Good communication skills to manage/interact with government representatives and people inside and outside of the project team is desirable.
- Excellent drafting skills is desirable.
