Required Qualifications

1. Public Health Coordinator

Education: Candidates applying for this role must have a medical degree and also a post graduate diploma in either Public health, international health or any related course from a recognized institution.

Competence and Skills: At World Health Organization (WHO), respecting individual and cultural differences is key, good communication, team spirit and producing results are key. Additionally, been competent in English or French language.

Experience: Candidate applying for this role is expected to have a minimum of ten (10) year experience either in a national or international organization and it must be related to Public Health.

Remuneration: For this position, an annual entry salary of $92,731 is allocated.

2. Coordinator for Non-Communicable Disease

Education: A Bachelor and Master’s degree in Medicine, Non-communicable disease or Public health is required. Certifications must be a World Higher Education Database (WHED) recognized institution.

Competence and Skills: In addition to teamwork, excellent communication and respective of each other value; high level of expertise and knowledge in Public health programmes is required and also good understanding of policy making processes.

Experience: Most minimal, you should have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in managing public health programmes of which five (5) years should be at managerial level.

Remuneration: The kick off annual salary for Coordinator of Non-Communicable Disease is $92,731 which means you will be earning $5,100 on a monthly basis.

3. Program Officer for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs)

Education: Essentially, you should have a Bachelor’s degree or MBBS, Postgraduate or Master’s in relevant academic discipline. Also attaining training in Epidemiology and Statistics are added advantage.

Competence and Skills: You should possess technical and expertise skill when it comes to communicable disease surveillance, knowledge of implementation and management strategy on country-wide-health-related issues. Be a good team workers, produce result, and be able to express either in English of local language necessary.

Experience: An average of five (5) year experience in Public Health especially working with UN agencies, government or international NGOs is an added advantage.

Remuneration: Salary is $1,366.70 on a monthly basis, making it $16,400 annually.
