Requirements for Kenya-AIST Recruitment 2024
Below are the eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, experience and skills needed for Kenya-AIST recruitment 2024.
1. Senior Technologist II
- Those interested in this role must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer etc. from an approved university.
- Valid identification document from Kenya government is mandatory.
- Most minimal, six (6) years of practical work experience related to your discipline is needed.
- Applicant must be conversant with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
- Having knowledge of PLC programming and computer networking puts you ahead of other applicants.
- Certifications and registration from/with relevant professional entities is mandatory.
2. Technologist II
- Applicants must be citizen of Kenya with acceptable form of identification.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Nothing short of three (3) years of work experience is needed.
- This experience must be related to your major academic discipline.
- Exposure and adequate knowledge of PLC programming and computer networking is a plus.
- Training in First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety is mandatory.
3. Estate/Maintenance Officer
- Candidates applying for this role must have a Degree in Land Economics, Building Economics, Estate Management etc. from an approved university.
- Having at least six (6) years experience is a key criteria.
- Applicant must also be proficient in the usage of computer applications.
4. Assistant Housekeeper I
- Candidates applying for this post must be certified in Firefighting and First Aid.
- Be ICT inclined.
- Have a minimum of six (6) years experience.
- Be a graduate with B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Institutional Management etc.
