Who is Eligible to Apply?
Talking about eligibility, the Ministry has reiterated that the application form is open to all interested candidates who hails from Kenya counties, having a valid means of identity like National ID, Passport and a minimum of D+ plus in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

Remember that this very recruitment exercise is meant for civilian positions and these includes; Cook III, Clerical Officer II, Driver II, Artisan (Panel Beater III), Artisan (Spray Painter III), Artisan (Welder III), Artisan III (Tailor), Artisan III (Motor Vehicle Electrician), Motor Vehicle Mechanic III, Senior Support Staff etc.

Generally, all candidates applying for any of the vacancies announced must have a government issued identity card especially National ID.
Depending on the position being applied for, applicant should have either Degree, Diploma or Certification in relevant discipline. D mean grade in KCSE including English and Kiswahili languages is necessary.
Constitutionally, possessing clearance certificates from necessary bodies is an added advantage. Same with having a criminal free background.
You should be able to communicate and express self effectively both in oral and written form. Avoid manipulating the application process as this will lead to disqualification.
Being a member of relevant professional body is also an advantage. Persons applying for the position of driver must have license that permits them to driver any car and must possess at least three (3) years of experience.
