Yes, an approval has been given for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to recruit talented, devoted, competent, and suitably qualified candidates to improve the quality of the organization’s services and their workforce.

According to the board of NHIS, applications for job vacancies are not accepted online through its official portal at the moment. You are only to forward your application using its provided email address.

At the same time, your application must include the appropriate address of the National Health Insurance Scheme and also the application code (reference number) of the position you are applying for.

Eligibility Criteria for NHIS Recruitment 2024

Note that requirements for the recruitment poses are determined based on the position involved having different responsibilities. However, the general requirements you should consider meeting are as follows;

Candidate is expected to be a Nigerian owning an issued government means that identifies him or her as one
Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in a medical or health discipline or equivalent from an institution acknowledged by NHIS

NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is required

Possession of postgraduate qualification in public health, family medicine, health planning and management or equivalent is an added advantage and desired for higher positions
Experience and skill in monitoring and evaluation of healthcare services and facilities is desired
The use of computer applications and modern facilities will enhance the speed in service delivery, hence required
