  4. Provide your name, email address and password
  5. Check your email for confirmation link

Once login, proceed to complete your profile so you can apply for job vacancies by uploading your National Identity Card, recent passport photograph, university or college certificate, training certificate, and then O’level school leaving certificate etc.

How can I Join NIS in Kenya?

You can either join the Kenya National Intelligence Service as a graduate, diploma or certificate trainee so long you meet the requirements below.

1. Requirements for Graduate Trainees

    • Candidates applying must be between 22 to 31 years old.
    • He or she must have a mean grade C+ in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)
    • Must be a graduate with degree from a recognized university in Kenya.
    • Must be a law abiding citizen with zero criminal record.
    • Must be mentally and physically fit.

    2. Requirements for Diploma Trainees

      • Applicants for this position must be between 20 to 30 years old.
      • Must have at least a mean grade C (plain) in K.C.S.E including Kiswahili and English languages.
      • Must have graduated with a College diploma of at least 1 year 6 months study.
      • Candidate must have a criminal free record and mentally/physically fit.

      3. Requirements for Certificate Trainees

        • Applicant must be between the ages of 20-26
        • Possessing at least mean grade D+ in K.C.S.E or equivalent O’level is mandatory.
        • Must possess a relevant certificate from an approved institution.
        • The certificate must be for at least six (6) months of study.
        • Candidate must be mentally and physically fit as well as having a criminal free background.
