Eligibility Criteria for IEBC Recruitment 2024

Before proceeding to apply for a role in the ongoing IEBC recruitment exercise, you need to be up to the tasks which are met in terms of the basic requirements.

• Generally, candidates applying for these vacancies must be indigene of Kenya with acceptable identification document e.g. National ID, Passport or Driving License etc.
• First degree or equivalent qualification in any related field of study is acceptable. Also, those with Diploma or certificate from an approved institution can as well apply.
• It is mandatory to have a minimum of D plus grade in KCSE which must include English and Kiswahili languages.
• Ability to express self in both verbal and written form, having an idea of how the commission operates and ability to work with less supervision is an added advantage.

IEBC County Election Manager

• Candidates for the role of County election manager must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any social science course from an established and recognized university.
• He or she must have worked with IEBC for a minimum period of 5 years especially as constituency election coordinator.

IEBC Polling and Counting Clerks

This officer must possess at least a Diploma in ICT and had successfully completed a minimum of two (2) years industrial attachment. Communication and reporting skills are core requirements.
