About Lake Basin Development Authority

The Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) was established in 1979 to operate as national government agency with the objective to provide coordination, development and a quicker means for Kenyan portion of Lake Victoria basin.

Qualifications and Requirements Needed

Before the position based requirements, note that all applicant must hail from Kenya. A valid proof of identity such as National ID or Passport is necessary. Having at least D+ mean grade in KCSE and adhering to the specifications of chapter of the constitution is necessary.

HR Officer

  • For this role, you need a degree in Human Resource management or another closely related academic discipline.
  • A post graduate qualification in Human Resource or CPSK is required.

  • It is important you have a minimum of five (5) years expereince in a similar role or management position.
  • You should be knowleagle when it comes to laws governing employee matters.
