According to the official notice of Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) recruitment there are 5 open vacancies; Director of Corporate Services, Director of Road Engineering, Corporation Secretary and Director of Legal Services, Deputy Director of Environment and Social Safeguards, and Deputy Director of Human Resource Management etc. The level for these vacant positions is Grade 2 and 3. Requirements and Qualification for KERRA Recruitment 2024

Generally, it is expected that applicants of KERRA recruitment should have an acceptable identification proof e.g., National ID card, Passport, etc.

Candidates applying irrespective of the position should have at least C+ or D+ in KCSE including English and Kiswahili languages.

Being in good health condition, physically and mentally is necessary as well as having a criminal free record and possessing clearance certificates from required bodies like KRA, HELB, DCI, EACC and CRB etc.

Director Corporate Services

Below are the criteria you should meet educationally and other wise in other to get appointed for this position.

  • Applicant of this position must have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in either Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, ICT, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent from an approved tertiary institution.
  • Having a Master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned academic discipline or equivalent is still an added advantage. 
  • Being an active member of relevant professional body is a plus. He or she must have practicing license from IHRM.
  • Candidate applying should be proficient in computer applications, possess valid certifications from ICTA and possible have a PGD in Human resource management from KNEC.
  • At least twelve (12) years of work experience is required.

Director of Road Engineering

This is a pivotal position in the authority therefore applicants must possess the following requirements.

  • First degree in Civil Engineering from an approved university in the country.
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Professional membership with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK)
  • Analytical skill and proficiency in ICT are mandatory.

Corporate Secretary and Director of Legal Services

  • This position requires that you have a Bachelors of Law degree or Master’s degree in law of related qualification in social science from a recognized University in Kenya.
  • PGD in Council of Legal Education and being a member of Law Society of Kenya is mandatory.
  • Applicant should be good with computer operations and be committed to excellence in execution of duties.
